One

featuring Lily Papas

Our second single ‘One featuring Lily Papas is now on Anjunachill and available on all streaming platforms.

One’ continues to evolve Planet Of Souls’ sonic identity. A slow-burning, dreamlike record that gradually dissolves into something wide open and unknown. Written during a time when the world fell quiet, it hums with absence and memory, wrapped in analogue warmth and drifting vocal textures.

It was recently featured in Netflix’s 'The Survivors', currently ranked as the second most-watched show globally in June 2025.

Release date: 24/07/2025

Anjunachill

  • “ Planet Of Souls isn’t just a collaboration; it’s a communion, and with “One,” they remind us that even in solitude, we’re never truly alone. It reads like a love letter to shared vulnerability, a sonic salve for collective disquiet."

    Artwood Magazine

  • “A creative endeavour rooted in decades of combined musical experience, the project weaves together the sounds of ethereal electronic, ambient, pop and cinematic songwriting. This latest track is a taste of everything Planet Of Souls has to offer. “

    EARMILK

  • “One is a musically rich offering that deftly blends ethereal electronics with ambient textures and pop sensibilities to create a melancholic beauty. “

    Backseat Mafia

  • “With sweeping strings, meditative pacing, and Papas’ expressive vocals front and centre, One’ is a statement of intent from a duo pushing into bold, introspective territory.”

    DMY.CO

  • “Planet Of Souls marks a turning point for Paul Rogers and Tom Barlow, free from commercial pressures, it’s pure creative expression from two seasoned artists.”

    UFO Network

  • "One’ is a cinematic and emotionally charged single that builds from a delicate, slow-burning moment to a hardened transcendence. A compelling piece that beautifully captures a sense of connection and reflection."

    Purple Melon

  • “Built around warm, reverberating piano chords, atmospheric strings, and a powerful sub-bass foundation, ‘One’ is elevated by Lily Papas’ emotionally resonant performance. Her voice soars with both fragility and strength, guiding the listener through the track’s meditative core. The result is a piece of music that feels both timely and timeless.”

Caught up a modern illusion
Im feeling like we have to prove that we're all numb
Trying to find a way to the answer
Coz nobody wants to believe that we're all one

Caught up in a common delusion
i’m feeling like we have to lose our right to feel love
Trying to hide away from the madness
Coz nobody wants to reveal what they have done

V E R S E 2

Caught up in a world of confusion
Im feeling like we have to choose our right to move on
Crying out to someone above me
And hoping that they’ll come and save me from what i’ve become
